BioWhat to put in a bio? Who I am, what I want, and what I like, I guess.
I'm 26, male, single, and more interested in politics than is probably good for me. I have a BA in Psychology, a moderate level of computer hardware expertise, and an unhealthy curiosity about world events. I'm a classical liberal, though there are some views ascribed to liberals that I do not share. For instance, I'm not a communist, a socialist, a terrorist, or an enemy of religion. I do not advocate any but the most basic gun control. I do not want the UN running the US or the world.
I want a peaceful life, loving relationships, and close friends. I seem to screw up each of these things when I get them within grasp. I want validation and encouragement, and frequent hugs (see below). I want someone to take care of, and someone to take care of me. I want to be an expert in something that interests people.
I like dramatic photos, computer games that feature storyline above anything else, Australian wine, and Belgian beer. I like talking about what's going on behind the scenes... what the news doesn't tell us, the non-public reasons for political action, hypotheses about public figures' motives. I like pot, occasionally. I love hot soup and sandwiches. I know that last sounds silly, but a mug of tomato soup and a grilled sandwich, along with a hug, will cheer me up in a hurry.
If you want to know something else, feel free to ask. As long as it doesn't incriminate me or compromise a friend, I'll be happy to tell you.

I've had dozens of inquiries about the Liberty Kiss icon. Great, isn't it? :-)
The kissee is Lady Justice. The blindfold is the giveaway. In the full version of the picture, she's carrying scales as well.

I'm a free-lovin', tree-huggin', sandal-wearin', protest-marchin' wannabe-hippie. I love self-determination above all else, including determinations about gun ownership. No one can take my gun, anymore than they can take my sarongs or my feminist folk-singer CDs. There are plenty more like me, too. We don't speak up much, because when we do our friends either get very quiet, or they get very loud. Neither is great for post-Tofurkey dinner conversation.
